Not only that, but the average person spends an average of 50 minutes per day on Facebook.


Another reason to create a Facebook business page is that it allows you to build trust and credibility with potential customers.


When people see that you have an active and well-maintained Facebook business page, it will show that you're a credible business that is invested in your online presence.


It's also a great way to show off your brand personality and connect with potential customers on a more personal level.

For you profile picture you can use your company logo. If you have a personal brand like a blog as I do. You could use a profile picture of yourself. If you do this make sure that your profile picture attire fits within industry expectations.


Third Fill Out Your About Section:


Your "About" section is where you'll provide an overview of your business, so make sure you fill it out completely and accurately.


Include important information like your business name, address, phone number, and website URL.


You can also use this space to share your business story or describe your company culture.


Make sure the language you use is clear and easy to understand, as this will be one of the first things potential customers will look at when they're considering doing business with you.

Your call-to-action button is a great way to encourage people to take a specific action on your page, like "book now," "sign up," or "learn more."


Make sure your button is relevant to your business and what you want people to do on your page. For me it's to schedule a call with me, so I can help you with your ads or provide strategic advice on your marketing.


If you're a eCommerce site, you might want people to "Shop Now." If you're a nonprofit, you might want people to "donate now."


You can change your button at any time, so don't be afraid to experiment with different options to see what works best for your business.


Fifth Create Engaging Posts, Use Video To Gain A Boost In Engagement:

Once you've set up your page, it's time to start posting!


When creating your content, think about what kind of information your target audience would find valuable or interesting.


You can post about industry news, company updates, tips or advice related to your business, behind-the-scenes looks at your business, or anything else you think would be of interest to your target audience.

For example, you have Facebook posts centered around product A or topic A, but after looking at Facebook insights you find that product B or topic B drove all the visitors or sales.


Eighth Add Collaborators To Your Page


As a Facebook business page you can grant specific roles to your team or an agency. This means they will not have to use your login to manage your Facebook business page.

You can cycle through the drop down menu and select each role to see the description for the permission you are giving. Most advertisers will want admin access.


You can get away with not giving this, just keep in mind that this will require a little more back and forth to make sure they have everything these need to promote your page.

While we are looking at page roles. If you scroll down further on the setting tab you will find a tab called crossposting.

Now that we've gone covered some of the reasons why you should create a Facebook business page, as well as some tips and tricks. Let's step back a second and walk through how to get your Facebook business page set up.


Create a Facebook Business Page Not Personal Account


The first step is to create a Facebook business page, not a personal account.


You might be tempted to just create a personal profile for your business, but that's not the best way to go about it. By creating another personal Facebook account you are actually violating Facebook's TOS which states that you can only have one personal profile. In addition with a personal account your potential customer would be required to send you a friend request, this could create a barrier for you customer that you don't want.


Finally, you will lose out on some of the promotional marketing features that come with having a Facebook business page.

Both the publishing tools and insights tab are valuable tools that you will want to have for your business


Step 1: Create Initial Description Of Page


To create your new business page go to facebook.com/pages/creation

Choose a Category: After you've chosen your page name, you'll be asked to choose a category for your page.


This is important because it helps people find your page when they're searching for something on Facebook.


For example, if you have a social media agency, you would want to choose the "social media agency" category.


Add your description and hit create page.


Step 2: Profile Image and Cover Photo


Once you hit create page, Facebook will ask you to add in your profile image and cover photo.

Step 4: Connect Your WhatsApp Account (optional)


Facebook lets you connect to WhatsApp. I do not use WhatsApp to communicate with customers or friends so have chosen not to connect this. If you have a business phone number you can connect this to Facebook.

Before we announce our page to the world. We want to take a quick look at Facebook's business tools.


If you are booking meetings, you will want to connect your calendar to Facebook. I personally connected my Facebook profile with my google calendar.


If you are an eCom store setting up your store to see your products could be valuable.


These are the two I would look at. You can also dive into templates for your Facebook business page. This has for giveaways, sales, and more. You can also look at posting a job to your Facebook page.


Step 7: Introduce Your Page | Invite Friends To Follow Your New Facebook Page


Alright you are officially done. The last step is to invite Facebook friends to follow your Facebook business page and post engaging content.
