The Facebook Business Manager is a powerful tool for managing all of your business’s Facebook accounts and assets in one place. With the mobile version of Business Manager, you get access to the Facebook ads manager.
The Facebook ads manager app allows you to review analytics data, create ads, and provide you with a high-level overview of your Facebook ad account.
The app is perfect for those on the go and is not meant to replace the Facebook Ads Manager on desktop.
What Is The Facebook Ads Manager App?
The Facebook ads manager is a free tool provided by Facebook within the Facebook Business Manager. The Facebook Ads Manager is used to create, track and optimize the Facebook ads that show up in the Facebook news feed.
The mobile version of the Facebook Ads Manager recently changed the name of its App to the Meta Ads Manager in the Apple app store.
In the Facebook Ads Manager app, you can create Facebook ads, create automation, set up notifications, ask questions about your ads, and change some general settings for the app.

If you need to manage multiple accounts and review analytics across your campaigns, you will need to use the desktop version of the Facebook Ads Manager.
The mobile app is best used for quick adjustments and checking in on campaign performance from a high level while you’re away from your desk.
What The Facebook Ads Manager App Cannot Do
Although the Facebook Ad Manager app is a great tool for managing your Facebook Ads campaigns, it is limited in some areas.
It cannot be used to manage the admin side of your Meta assets.
If you've used the Facebook Business Manager to manage multiple Facebook pages you might be used to its admin functions.
For example, if you have multiple Facebook pages, you may be used to managing who has access to your Facebook business page through your business manager account.
You cannot do this with the Meta ads manager.
The Meta app will link Facebook pages to your app and allow you to cycle through any Facebook business page you have full or partial access to so that you can create, manage, and optimize these ads.
You will not be able to manage who has access to your ads manager and can create these Facebook ads in the app.
This rule is the same for your business ad accounts, Instagram accounts, pixel management, the addition of new employees or agency partners, and other assets that are managed through the business manager.
